Dr. Barry Leonard, Optometrist

Dr. Barry Leonard graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1983. He served his internship at the Center for the Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, Fort Ord Army Hospital and the V.A. Hospitals. He is certified by the Board of Optometry to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. While Dr. Leonard is a general Optometrist who manages all types of eye disorders, his special interests are in custom contact lenses including the treatment of Keratoconus and laser vision correction.

Dr. Leonard was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. The practice was developed by his father who originally opened the office in 1957. Dr. Leonard is currently involved in various community organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, the Mid Valley Jeopardy Foundation and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.

Dr. Leonard is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.

Outside his daily practice he finds enjoyment in marathon running, reading and water sports.



Dr. Daniel Pollack, Optometrist

Dr. Daniel Pollack graduated from the State University of New York, College of Optometry. He has completed advanced placement courses in contact lenses and therapeutic management of the ocular disease.

Dr. Pollack has been practicing in the Los Angeles area since 1979, in both a hospital setting as well as in private practice. He is involved in local school community projects.

When not in the office, he keeps busy with his three young daughters and his wife Rebecca.

We recommend that all of our patients receive this test. It is especially important for people with a history of high blood pressure, diabetes, floaters, headaches or a strong/high eyeglass prescription.
